About
Dr. Elizabeth Robles
Certified Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics
Dr. Elizabeth Robles’ history with orthodontics started when she was a child visiting her mother’s orthodontic practice. Inspired by that experience, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and pursued a one-year general practice residency at Albany Medical Center. She then returned to NYU to complete a two-year, post-doctorate orthodontic residency program to become a Certified Specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Today, Dr. Robles has over 25 years of experience and knowledge in treating patients of all ages. At her private practice, her primary focus is on the airway and breathing with beautiful, straight teeth and solid function coming closely behind. While airway health is often overlooked by other orthodontists, having a healthy airway is the first step toward good overall health and avoiding sleep apnea. That’s why Dr. Robles evaluates everyone, regardless of age.
Dr. Robles is dedicated to providing her patients with a high quality of life. No matter which orthodontic appliance she uses, she treats the surrounding tissue and bone using very light natural forces that respond quickly to treatment, significantly reducing the need for extractions from her treatment plans.
In addition to being an orthodontist, Dr. Robles is also an Access Bars Consciousness Facilitator, 3rd Degree Reiki Practitioner, and Reconnective Healing Practitioner. Her philosophy for a zen and miraculous life is based on books and teachings she’s applied throughout the years.
